Congruency matters! When you submit a protocol application, you will be asked to also submit the grant that will fund your animal research. NIH, NSF, DoD and other funding agencies require verification that the IAÌìÃÀ´«Ã½C has approved all proposed animal care and use procedures before they will fund research proposal applications. Therefore, the IAÌìÃÀ´«Ã½C compares your grant with the protocol application to ensure all procedures in the grant are listed in the protocol.
