Xander Ault
Xander is an ECEE PhD student working to integrate photon heralding with circuit QED to unlock new methods for generating, distributing, and maintaining quantum coherence across superconducting platforms. He is part of the Superconductive Electronics Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology and works alongside the Gyenis Lab. Xander received his B.S. in astronomy and astrophysics, as well as a B.S. in mathematics, from Central Michigan University in 2024, where he worked on optimizing thermoelectric properties of materials through doping. In his free time, he enjoys playing board and card games, both with his friends and competitively.
