Summer Storage

In support of a smooth move-out experience, Residence Life is pleased to provide a list of preferred storage partners.

Resident safety is a top priority and preferred partners agree to abide by a number of expectations designed to help ensure safety of students and their items.听

To be a preferred partner in our storage program, vendors must agree to:

  • Provide consistent levels of property insurance听
  • Complete background checks of all employees听
  • Clearly identify their employees through the use of nametags and attire听
  • Abide by campus safety, weapons听and data security policies

Students utilizing summer storage

All transactions for summer storage are directly between the student and the vendor. Residence Life does not coordinate storage for individual student items, nor are we responsible for the individual business transactions made between the student and the vendor.听

We encourage all students utilizing these services to:听

  • Read all contracts and documents thoroughly before signing.
  • Understand the terms and conditions of payment. Each vendor has different fee structures for their services.
  • Ask where, and how, your items will be stored and transported. Some vendors utilize climate controlled storage, while others may not. Some vendors will deliver to your off campus home next fall, others may not.听

Students are not required to utilize one of these vendors, though Residence Life is unable to confirm validity of the business if it is not part of our preferred partner program.听

Note: No vendor, whether preferred or not, is permitted to access residential corridors without a resident to escort them at all times. Most vendors will require you to bring your items to their truck outside of your hall.听

Packing, shipping and storage

  • UPS Stores are the only vendor authorized to complete 鈥渋n room packing鈥 services for students that are unable to be present to remove their items.
  • UPS Stores are also the only vendor permitted to pack and ship items to your permanent address.
  • Students are able to drop personal items at any campus UPS Store to be stored locally for the summer.
  • Storage pricing is calculated per item.

  • College Student Storage offers door-to-door Summer Storage, Semester Abroad storage, and Car storage to听天美传媒 students and their听parents. We can store anything,听from vehicles to futons, and everything in between.听For the Summer Semester and abroad storage or for as long as you need.听CSS was started in 1996 at 天美传媒 Boulder and is located in Boulder.
