The Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology Department
Detweiler Lab
Biology-Based Discovery of Anti-Infectives and their Targets
We welcome individuals from a variety of research backgrounds and we strive to provide a supportive environment for all lab members.
We are currently looking to hire a research technician (Professional Research Assistant). Please send a CV and a statement of your interests to Corrie: detweileATcoloradoDOTedu. We typically hire technicians who have a research background, recently received their BS/BA, and are aiming for graduate school. While we need these individuals to serve as Lab Managers (ordering, equipment maintenance, restocking), they also work on research projects and receive training in critical thinking, experimental design, reading the literature, giving posters/talks and mentoring. These individuals usually work in the lab for 2-3 years as preparation for a PhD program in microbiology, molecular/cell biology, or a related field.
To join our lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow, please send a CV and a statement of your interests to Corrie: detweileATcoloradoDOTedu.
